Hello, I’m Anne I trained as a supervisor as part of my Masters degree from the University of Bristol, which I completed in 1992. I currently works as a supervisor both online and face-to-face, as well as training supervisors as part of the University of Bristol’s modular MSc programme. I offer email and real time conferencing to my supervisees, who work in a variety of organisational and private settings. Having experience of workplace counselling, one of my strengths is my ability to supervise counsellors who hold dual roles. Central to the success of supervision is the relationship, based on the core conditions, that is created together by the supervisee and supervisor, since this enables them to work freely and creatively together. I see the tasks of supervision as encouraging supervisees to develop their full potential as ethical and professional counsellors, within a supportive and appropriately challenging framework. The restorative element of supervision is also vital in holding supervisees who are working with demanding client or contextual issues. My own counselling approach is integrative, based on humanistic principles. However, my current supervisees come from a wide range of counselling approaches. If you would like to work with me, I suggest that together you have an online meeting, or email contact, to get a feel for each other. Then, if you both would like to go further, set up an initial contract for an agreed period, reviewing what is working well, or needs changing, before deciding whether to move to a more open ended contract. If you think that you would like to work with me, either by email or in real time text (chat), please contact me by clicking on my email address
